A Discipleship Pathway

Guiding people on their faith journey, from first steps to mature discipleship. A comprehensive framework for individuals exploring Christianity and church leaders supporting them.

Format: Self-paced online course
Duration: 12 modules
Level: For explorers and leaders

What You'll Learn

This course provides a clear, structured pathway for both individuals exploring Christianity and church leaders guiding them. Whether you're taking your first steps in faith or supporting others on their journey, this framework offers practical guidance rooted in relational discipleship.

Course Structure

The course is divided into two complementary parts:

Part 1: Your Personal Journey outlines the eight key steps for individuals exploring and growing in Christian faith, from attending an introductory event through to sharing your own testimony.

Part 2: Leading the Pathway equips church leaders and volunteers with ten practical steps for creating an effective discipleship pathway in their local context, including choosing the right course, recruiting mentors, and establishing nurture groups.

Who Is This For?

This course serves two audiences:

Individuals who are exploring Christianity or want to deepen their faith will find a clear roadmap for their spiritual journey, with practical next steps at each stage.

Church leaders, clergy, and volunteers will gain a comprehensive framework for welcoming seekers, running effective courses, training mentors, and nurturing new believers into mature disciples.

What Makes This Different?

This isn't just a checklist. It's a relational, prayer-driven approach that recognises people come to faith at different paces and in different contexts. The pathway emphasises:

  • Cultural sensitivity in choosing appropriate course materials
  • The crucial role of mentorship and ongoing relationship
  • Practical support needs alongside spiritual formation
  • Integration into church community rather than isolated learning
  • Building confidence to share faith naturally

How to Use This Course

Work through the modules at your own pace. Each module is designed to be read in around 10–15 minutes, with space for reflection and practical application.

If you're an individual explorer, focus on Part 1 and the modules that speak to your current stage of journey. If you're a church leader, work through the entire course to understand both perspectives.

At the end of the course, you'll be able to download a complete PDF guide for reference and sharing with others.
