Safeguarding is at the heart of our life together. The Church in Wales works to make sure all our churches are safe, welcoming places for children, young people and adults at risk. Policies and procedures are set nationally, with local officers available to support and advise.

Safeguarding duty officer

New referrals and urgent matters

From 31st August 2026, a duty officer is available each day to receive new referrals and respond to urgent matters, before allocating them to the relevant Provincial Safeguarding Officer. Please use these details for new referrals or same-day contact with the team.
