A new phase of ministry in a beautiful, rural part of mid-Wales: collaborative leadership, visible community presence, and pastoral gifts that help people of every age and stage feel at home in church and community.

East Radnor at a Glance

A large, sparsely populated rural MA with strong community ties and a very public clergy profile. Agriculture and tourism shape the rhythm of life; roads range from A-roads to single-track lanes, and winters can occasionally affect travel.

  • Communities: Knighton (around 3,000) plus small villages including Beguildy, Bleddfa, Llangunllo, and Gladestry.
  • Transport: Heart of Wales Line at Knighton (to Shrewsbury and Swansea); local bus services.
  • Community life: Active halls, cafés, youth clubs, and local initiatives across the MA.

Representative churches include St Edward's (Knighton), St Mary's (Pilleth), St David's (Whitton), St Michael's (Cascob), St Mary's (New Radnor), St Peter's (Evancoyd), St Mary's (Gladestry), St David's (Colva), and others across the MA.

Recently re-purchased vicarage in Whitton, centrally placed for the MA: good garden, three bedrooms, and a study with a separate entrance.
