Holy Trinity Church services move to local school

Despite the temporary closure of Holy Trinity Church in Llandrindod Wells for essential maintenance, Sunday and midweek services are continuing.

Holy Trinity Church in Llandrindod Wells is temporarily closed while essential maintenance work is arranged on the building. Services are continuing on Sundays at Trefonnen Church in Wales Primary School and midweek at Festival Church, and all are welcome to join.

Vicar of Holy Trinity, Rev'd Pete Letson, said: "We have discovered a rodent problem in one of our basement areas and we are working with the County Council and church authorities to gain safe access so that we can deal with it at source. In the meantime, we have had to close the building to all but the most essential personnel.

"We are so grateful to our friends at Ysgol Trefonnen and Festival Church for opening up their spaces so that we can continue to meet together as a church family. We have been touched by the many kind expressions of support from across the community, and we know what a valued place Holy Trinity holds for so many in Llandrindod. Please do bear with us — and if you feel able, please pray for us as we work to find a solution. Please also be assured of our ongoing prayers for our town and the community we love."
