Welcome to Church course launches in Penllergaer

A Welcome to Church course will launch next month, offering an opportunity for explorers to discover what faith and belonging to a church community is all about.

The four-week course, organised by Rev'd John Gillibrand, offers a safe, friendly space where any questions can be asked without judgement. No previous experience of church is necessary, and there's no pressure to get involved beyond simply exploring.

Any Questions — Bring any questions about the church to this opening session. The team will do their best to answer honestly and without judgement. No need to bring a question if you just want to listen to a lively discussion.

Exploring Prayer — Very practical ideas about deepening prayer life as we continue our spiritual journey.

What is the church for? — This session explores how to get the best out of reading the Bible and out of shared worship.

How can I get involved if I want to? — An opportunity to think about finding your place and using your talents within the local church community. No pressure to get involved—just possibilities for those who are interested.

The course runs at 7pm in Llywellyn Hall, Penllergaer on Tuesdays: 17th and 24th February, 3rd and 10th March.

For further information, contact Rev'd John Gillibrand on 07971 467651. All will be very welcome.
